I just love this shoot and this family. The Cottons are good friends of ours and when Kim asked me to take her family pictures I just knew this idea would be perfect for them. Although we had to avoid the laundromat workers and adhere to the many rules I think we still got some great shots.

Thanks for being open for something different Kim, I hope you enjoy them. :)

Wow…I have really been neglecting my blog lately. Well, I guess this is the perfect session to share with y’all after the lack of new post. I am absolutely in love with this session!! I knew I was going to love them while I was taking the pictures and I am even more in love again after editing them. Carrie and her family are very special to my husband and I. We meet the LaHaie’s at our first duty station in Washington D.C. Carrie was the very first person I met after leaving home and moving 24 hours across the country. Right away we all became a family and did everything together. At the time that I met Carrie, she was pregnant with Aubrey, their oldest, who is also our God daughter. I will never forget when that little girl was born, I was the first person to visit her and hold her in the hospital…. awe little Aubs! :) Anyway… sorry to ramble, when Carrie and the girls came from Arizona to visit us I just had to take some pictures of them. I just adore this family and love how their pictures came out! I hope y’all love them.

This summer I had the opportunity to photograph some amazing families. There will always be certain things about my clients that will remain with me and come to mind when I look back at their photos. The thing that stands out to me about the De La Garza family is that Amy is a super hero! I thought having two now was hard, and Amy has four, and is taking care of them while her husband is deployed. Props to you girl!! Well, I hope your husband loves the photos,  and you have a beautiful family.

Wow…am I behind on my blog post. eeekk….things have been so crazy lately that I didn’t realize how far behind I was. I shot this lovely family earlier this summer and just realized that I never did a blog post for them. They’re shoot was a lot of fun, we were able to shoot at a great location on a farm with an old barn, tractor, and field; perfection. :) We also did a fun cake smash for their little girl who turned one. Sorry it took me so long to share with y’all.

Enjoy.
