This past Friday night I had the honor once again of being apart of another welcome home ceremony. Even though it was scheduled to be at 11:45 pm, I was so excited to be there and be apart of such an exciting time. Everyone was awake and dressed up to pick up their Soldier after a long year absence. There was so much energy and excitement in the room. Vicki and her two girls Kennedy and Payton were just glowing with excitement to pick up their dad and husband. I cant even tell you how special it was to be there and witness this family’s reunion. Thanks so much Powers’ family for allowing me to be apart of it. I hope you enjoy your pictures and having your family back together.

Kennedy and Payton waiting patiently for their dad
the shirts the girls had made say, “our soldier, my daddy, my hero, I love you”

I love the sign Vicki had for her man

it seemed like the wait was forever

then finally they announced they were about to begin
as they marched in everyone started cheering and jumping up and down,
you could just feel the excitement in the room as family members realized that soon they would get to hold their Soldiers
it was so sweet to watch their faces as the Soldiers marched in

the girls cheering for their Soldier after they released them to go find their families
they just couldn’t wait any longer and started chasing after their dad

it was so sweet seeing him with his girls, definitely a tear jerker

she waited so patiently for her turn

how perfect are they!

what a happy family!!
WELCOME HOME!!!!!!!!!
