capturing true love

June 18, 2010

This past weekend I had the privilege to photograph the cutest couple; Devin and Alyssah. Let me tell you what, they were great to work with!! Besides being absolutely photogenic, they had a great attitude and were up for anything. They ran around the North Shore with me to several different locations trying new things and smiling the whole time. :)

I had so much fun with them, and am so grateful for that opportunity, it reminded me why I am doing this. I love capturing these kinds of moments that show true emotion. Every single picture shows how much these two love each other, and I love that!!! I am so happy to be able to share this with them and all of you.

So.. enjoy!!!!

(Sorry there are so many, I could not narrow it down) :)

Thanks Alyssah and Devin, y’all were great!!!

I just wanted to share a sneak peek of Alyssah and Devin. They are such an awesome couple and reminded me why I love photography!! I love capturing these moments for people. Enjoy y’all, and check back soon for the rest. :)

As many of you know I love to take pictures of my daughter, Abby. So, I just had to share these pictures of her from a few nights ago when we went to the beach by our house to watch the sunset. Abby is starting to get more independent and learning to dress herself. When I asked her if she was ready to go, she ran back into her room and grabbed her boots and hat and ran out and said, “I’m ready!” I couldn’t help but laugh at her outfit, but decided it was fine, let her be a kid. So, we went down to the beach and watched the sunset while Abby entertained herself with a log that she found on the beach.

Well, I hope you get a smile out of Abby’s silly outfit and thanks for stopping by. :)

This girl is the nerdiest, sweetest, creative, giving, loving, and most beautiful person inside and out that I have ever met!! And I am so lucky to call her my bestest friend!!!

We met back in high school through my husband now, but boyfriend at the time, who were best friends. At first we didn’t know if we liked each other, since I was taking all her friends time. But very quickly we became best friends and have been inseparable ever since. We both ended up marrying military  guys, not planned, which unfortunately means we cant be neighbors and hang out everyday like planned. So, to make up for that we talk two-three times a week and visit each other as much as we can. This summer she came to visit me in Hawaii, and since we are both into photography we spent the whole time taking pictures.  So here are some of my favorites from a few of our photo shoots, we had a lot! :)

Enjoy!

And I love ya bunches nerdo!!!
