I just had to share a sneak peek of this sweet little baby boy, Elias. I cant wait to share the rest soon. Enjoy!

When I was asked to do Kat’s senior pictures I was ecstatic. Kat is so so much fun to shoot. Half the time we cant stop giggling long enough to take a picture. Well, I had so many different ideas for her photos, so we ended up doing two different shoots. Whenever I see Kat she always has a book in her hand. She is one of the biggest book nerds I have ever met, and I know a few. So I came up with this idea to show Kat doing what comes most natural to her, laying around reading..hee…hee..love ya girl. I am so pleased with how these came out. I hope y’all love them. Check back soon for part two of Kat’s senior shoot.

this is her all time favorite book

I just love shooting this girl, she has one of the most contagious smiles

I haven’t had the opportunity to shoot a lot of boys, so I was really excited to shoot the Munden boys. But, wow are boys different!! In a good way though. I only have a daughter, so I’m not use to little boys. They definitely give you a work out. Still I had a LOT of fun with these boys. They were hamming it up for me as long as I got some of their fighting shots. Hee…Hee… so we made sure to get lots of action shots. I just loved all the smiles and attitude they gave me. It made for a fun shoot. Thanks boys for the smiles. :)

Enjoy!

the beauty of a sunflower

September 11, 2010

Wow, I’m sorry it has been so long since I’ve  blogged. These past 45 days have been busy, emotional, and exciting. We packed up our home in Hawaii and said goodbye to some special people in our lives. Leaving Hawaii was hard, it had been our home for the past few years. Its where we had our daughter. Going to the beach was a part of her life. She still ask me to go to the beach like its just down the street.

After leaving Hawaii we stopped in Texas to visit with our families before we finished up our move to North Carolina. For as long as I could remember while living in Texas I’ve always wanted to take pictures with the sunflowers, but it never seemed to work out. So when we were visiting my husbands dad I made sure we had time to take some pictures with the sunflowers. I was overwhelmed with how beautiful they were. Even though Hawaii was one of the pretty places I have ever lived seeing the sunflowers reminded me that beauty is every where. I’m so excited to have a new start in North Carolina and find what makes North Carolina beautiful.

Here are our shots with the sunflowers, my husband was a great sport and took the shots of Abby and I. I hope you enjoy them. :)
